An unexpected name has emerged in the Red Sox’ search for a new head of basebal
l operations.

According to major league sources, former Giants and Phillies manager Gabe Kaple
r has interviewed with the Red Sox about leading their baseball operations depar
tment. Kapler, 48, has spent the last six years managing — two seasons with the
 Phillies, four with the Giants — but was dismissed by San Francisco at the end
 of this season.

那就是前陣子被巨人開除的總教練Gabe Kapler

目前他已經去紅襪面試過了

過去六年他都擔任總教練一職
