One clear emphasis for the Los Angeles Lakers at the trade deadline was adding s
ome outside shooting with the team currently ranking 26th out of 30 teams from b
eyond the arc at 33.9%.

湖人在本次交易明確強調的，就是增加球隊外線能力，把球隊目前三分FG 33.9% 排名聯盟第
26的頹勢改善。

Malik Beasley is one of the new additions that should help with that as he is a
career 38% 3-point shooting and is shooting 35.9% on 8.6 attempts per game this
season.

MB本季三分球FG 35.9% 出手數8.6 次；生涯三分FG 38%的成績應該可以幫助到湖人。

It seems to be a match made in heaven for the Lakers, and Beasley expressed exci
tement to be in L.A. at his introductory press conference:

他的成績看起來與現在的湖人絕配，他本人也在介紹自己的媒體發佈會上表示出他現在很興
奮。

“That’s I’m about to be with the LakeShow, it’s about to be a show out here.
 Got to be ready to play, got to be locked in on and off the court. I’m excited
 to do that and get an opportunity to show who I can be.”

MB:「 我會為Lakeshow 帶來很棒表現的，不管場上場下我都準備好了，我對於得到這樣可以
展現自己的機會感到興奮。」

While understanding it will take some time to adjust, Beasley is happy to provid
e the Lakers with the outside shooting they desperately need:

理解需要一些時間適應球隊的同時,MB很開心能提供湖人現在迫切所需的外線能力。

“Definitely gonna be adjustments but I’m excited to be a Laker. I’m excited t
o bring some shooting to the table and defend and make a playoff run.”
Shooting is something that head coach Darvin Ham has already communicated to Bea
sley that he will be doing a lot of even if they haven’t talked about exact rol
es yet:



“We haven’t talked about exact role yet, but I know for sure that he wants me
to shoot. That was one of the first things he said, ‘I need you to shoot that b
all and make some shots’ and that’s what I’m gonna do. I’m gonna put in the
work and learn the system really fast and get adjusted to this different life an
d be ready to go starting tomorrow.”

MB：「我們還未討論球場角色，但我確定他要我射。教練跟我說的第一件事：我要你射，然
後射進。這就是我要做的事，明天就要上場了我要趕緊了解球隊體系、並且適應。」

In addition to Beasley, the Lakers also brought in another solid shooter in D’A
ngelo Russell as well as a pair of bigs that can stretch the floor a bit in Jarr
ed Vanderbilt and Mo Bamba.

另外，湖人還交易來了穩定的射手DLo；還有兩個可以射三分球為隊友創造切入空間的長人：
Vanderbilt 跟Bamba

That could be the ingredient to get the Lakers back into playoff contention, acc
ording to Beasley:

據MB說到，這些要素可以讓湖人有機會重返季後賽競爭的行列。

“I’ve been in the West my whole career so I know what it takes. If we go on a
five-game win streak, we’re back in the standings. Everything is still tight, a
ll we got to do is get into the playoffs and we can go from there. We got LeBron
, we got AD, we a lot of new guys, DLo, we can all take over and make the right
plays to put us in a position to win.”



At 25-31, the Lakers have a lot of work to do and not a lot of time to do it, al
though it looks like they finally have the right pieces in place to make a run.

在25-31的戰績，湖人在時間有限的條件下還有一大堆的工作要做，儘管他們看起來終於拿到
正確的拼圖。


五年老湖迷覺得樂觀是好事但實在太樂觀，求進季後賽重重打我臉。
